New analysis from loveholidays has revealed a surge in bookings to Benidorm this summer, following rumours that the popular ITV show could return to screens. 

The online travel agent also found: 

• Bookings to Benidorm increase by a fifth (21%) since the TV show’s creator Derren Litten revealed talks were happening with ITV about the show
• Bookings to the iconic Sol Pelicanos Ocas, better known to many as the 'Solana' from the hit series, have also seen a noticeable 26% uplift in bookings for the summer since the news broke
• The popular Costa Blanca resort is also favourable amongst solo travellers, seeing an 80% uplift in summer bookings vs last year

BENIDORM SUMMER BOOKINGS SURGE FOLLOWING HIT ITV SHOW COMEBACK TALKS

New analysis from loveholidays has revealed a surge in bookings to Benidorm this summer, following rumours that the popular ITV show could return to screens after a seven year hiatus. 

The online travel agent has seen bookings to Benidorm increase by a fifth (21%) since the TV show’s creator Derren Litten divulged details of its potential comeback, compared to the same period prior to his announcement. 

Bookings to the iconic Sol Pelicanos Ocas, better known to many as the 'Solana' from the hit series, have also seen a noticeable 26% uplift in bookings for the summer since the news broke, owing to keen set-jetters.

The hotel is available as part of a loveholidays package and is an all-rounder hotel suitable for families, couples and groups of friends. Sol Pelicanos Ocas is based in the Rincón de Loix area, just a short walk from Levante Beach and boasts one of the largest lagoon-style swimming pools in Benidorm. 

This comes as Benidorm is revealed as loveholidays’ top selling destination for summer 2025 based on bookings made year-to-date.

The popular Costa Blanca resort is also favourable amongst solo travellers, seeing an 80% uplift in summer bookings vs last year.
