The most sophisticated test of ESG fund performance, yet
I think the debate about whether ESG investments have higher or lower returns than conventional investments will never go away. I am on record as stating that I do not think there is any return difference between the two approaches. Meanwhile, advocates of ESG investing often claim the strategy offers higher returns, countering the claims of conventional investment advocates that ESG investing should lead to lower returns.
