Top Nine Kitchenware Trends for 2025 from
STAUB and ZWILLING
Premium kitchenware brands, STAUB and ZWILLING, have all the cookware, hardware, colours, appliances, storage and accessories needed to embrace next year’s 2025 kitchenware trends. STAUB and ZWILLING’s UK Marketing Manager Lydia Mallinson shares her predictions for what’s going to be big in 2025…
- Cast Iron Cookware
2025 will see cast iron being increasingly sought out, thanks to its benefits of being hardwearing and durable, retaining heat and being perfect for taking straight from oven to table when entertaining or feeding the family. It can also be used in the oven as well as on all types of hob, including induction. STAUB has a huge choice of cast iron cookware, with everything from its iconic Cocottes and stackable space-saving sets to pans, grills, trays and speciality designs for seasonal tablescapes.
- Intricate Hardware
Cabinetry handles have always been a quick and easy way to update an existing kitchen or add personality to a new design. Now the trend for creating interest with hardware has extended to handles on cookware, too. French cast iron specialist STAUB is thrilled to have partnered up with London-based hardware innovators Buster + Punch to create a new cookware collection that launched on 2 October 2024. It will feature special editions of the renowned cast iron Cocotte in 24cm and 28cm sizes, along with a 28cm cast iron frying pan, each with a modern twist thanks to knurled Buster + Punch handles in brass or steel and an embossed lid design on the Cocottes.

- Citron Colourways
One of the world’s leading trend forecasting organisations, WGSN, has predicted that Celestial Yellow will become a popular choice leading up to autumn/winter 2025/26, making STAUB’S new Citron colourway the perfect choice for adding a zesty splash of colour to kitchen surfaces and cooktops. This versatile shade works well with a wide range of other on-trend hues such as sage green and grey, and is ideal for adding a pop of colour to autumn or winter kitchen décor as well as brightening up outdoor dining during spring and summer months. It’s available as a new colour for STAUB’s 24cm, 26cm and 28cm cast iron Cocottes as well as a 16cm rice Cocotte and selection of ceramic mugs.
- Energy Efficient Appliances
As consumers continue to search for ways to save energy and money in 2025, energy efficient appliances will be on the wish list. ZWILLING’s ENFINIGY Mini Kettle is a compact 1L design available in black or silver, either bringing the perfect balance of form and function to any kitchen. With its small 13.5cm footprint, the ZWILLING Mini Kettle is also perfect for those who value space-saving solutions without compromising on performance.
- Pastel Palettes
2025 will see plenty of Macaron-inspired ceramics taking centre stage in the kitchen. These floral pastels and nature-inspired hues add a calming feel to this otherwise hectic space and are reminiscent of the first blooms of spring. STAUB has embraced this trend with a new ceramics collection that includes ovenware in Macaron-inspired pastel shades – Blue, Pink and Green – available in stackable two and three-piece oven dish sets, along with Eucalyptus ovenware, designed to complement its popular matching Eucalyptus sauté pan, frying pan and Cocottes in various sizes. There are also bowls for breakfast, desserts, nibbles and snacks too, which look stunning displayed on open shelving.
- Space-Saving Storage
With space continuing to be a valuable commodity in 2025, homeowners will be looking for stylish space-saving storage in all rooms but especially in the kitchen. STAUB’s Stackable cast iron pot sets in Cherry, Black, Graphite-Grey or White Truffle allow cooks to have all the benefits of a quality cast iron STAUB Cocotte with pans and lids that can be stored in one stackable set. For those who like to display their ingredients in open shelving or in a larder or pantry, ZWILLING’s FRESH & SAVE stackable Cube food storage is also a perfect fit for this trend.
- Coffee Stations
As home bars took over as a trend in 2024, coffee stations are set to be big news for 2025. Creating barista-quality drinks at home is not only a great idea when entertaining but it also saves money on buying expensive takeout coffees, too. ZWILLING’s Sorrento glassware, ENFINIGY milk frother, tea and coffee pot and cafétiere are all perfect for displaying in a coffee station or on open shelving, with quick and easy access for that caffeine hit.
- Self-Sharpening Knife Blocks
Saving time in the kitchen is always going to be an enduring trend, so for 2025, cooks can save themselves the time and effort of remembering to sharpen their knives with ZWILLING’s on-trend black-coloured Sharp Blocks. Featuring integrated Keep It Sharp (KIS) technology, these innovative knife blocks feature ceramic sharpening modules within each knife slot for straight-edge (non-serrated) knives to hone the blade every time it is withdrawn and replaced. This revolutionary KIS technology ensures the knives are always sharpened at the correct angle, maintaining their initial sharpness with each use.
- Nature-Inspired Greenery
From fresh mint hues to intense basil shades, the colour green has been hugely popular in interiors in recent years and 2025 will see it become more of a key trend in kitchens, too. What started as a way of integrating the biophilic look into this space has now evolved into a must-have palette for cabinetry, walls and cookware. STAUB’s Eucalyptus range of cookware comprises Cocottes, pans and braisers while the Sage collection also includes cast iron Cocottes, ceramic plates, bowls and mugs for co-ordinating cooking and tablescapes. ZWILLING’s FRESH & SAVE Cube collection meanwhile, keeps contents fresh, reduces waste and saves money, and is available with Pistachio Green coloured covers for a stylish display on worktops, shelving, pantries and cupboards.
