Hi AJESH,
Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ budget is out, and it introduced several changes for UK hospitality. Here are the key updates:
- National Minimum Wage increase to £12.21 for over 21s in April 2025
- Employer National Insurance Contributions threshold lowered to £5,000, with contributions increasing to 15%
- Business Rates Relief reduced to a permanent 40%, capped at £110,000
- Draught Alcohol Duty cut by 1.7%
Read my blog for a full breakdown and a look at the impact of these changes on UK hospitality.
Best wishes,
Ali
